Virtual keyboard in computer

Keyboard is something that comes to our mind the moment we think of a computer. Now technology advancement has turned keyboard virtually by means of an amazing piece of technology. Virtual keyboard is a technology that allows the user to operate by moving fingers on a wireless or optical surface or an area instead of the actual physical keys. The keyboard is projected optically on a flat surface and as we touch the image of the buttons, the stroke made becomes detected by the optical device and sends it to the computer. Sometimes short range Bluetooth technology is used for optical device to transmit the signal wireless. The benefit of the virtual keyboard being the portability, accuracy, reduces the strain to the finger and can be also used along with the smart phones.
