Silverlight is not a silver color light as the name sounds. Silverlight is a new technology that will be used in the presentation of the web in all the different kinds of platform. There are different technologies used in presenting the web before silverlight. By means of silverlight technology we don’t have worry about the platform as it is platform independent. The main advantage of using this technology is it creates a rich visual and a stunning look that easily works within browsers, operating systems and also in several other devices. eXtensible Application Markup Language (XAML) is the basic for the creation of this technology. Now the developer doesn’t have to worry about the web platform designing the page.
