Gecko has released multi touch displays by means of infra red vision sensing called as Demand Evolution. It also includes the open source software along with the LCD display. This technology is a cross platform with high resolution displays that are multi touchable. The LCD display measuring 30 inch is specially designed for the purpose of workstation and kiosk scenarios. The most beneficial of these kind of units is that they are easily available for commercially purpose at very low affordable price. It does not require any developer kit and business software for making direct support with the operating system. Open source developer community can make most use of this technology to shift to the multi touch interaction.
